Some of the custom pieces I've been working on......

I've been working and working on custom orders.
I loved creating this fun little lamb for a little
one's first Christmas (last year).
This was my first time painting on a Christmas ornament.
It's hard to see it from all angles but I think it's fun!
My family is full of fisherman so this was
fun to do as well.  I think this is my first ever fish ornament!
A custom watercolor painting for an old friend.  I painted
another one several years ago with wings and she wanted this one to
be similar to that.
This was a set of nine grandchildren that were
sent off to Malta a few weeks ago.

 A lovely couple!

My first truck ever!  And maybe my last....
Lot's of ornaments and paintings were created as well.
Thanks to everyone who asked us to help create something
special for your loved ones for Christmas. We hope you
have a great Holiday Season!

Pumpkin County Fair Style!

We were contacted in the spring to create a cake topper
for a little girl.  It was based on one of our sculptures of a Halloween
witch.  The mom wanted a similar witch with blond hair, and in shades of
orange, pink and black.  Little did we know it would be part of this fabulous
party for a 9 yr. old girl.

Our little sculpture made such a great cake topper!
I can't believe how great it looks with all of these
wonderful decorations!
What a lucky little girl!

All of these fabulous photos are from the girls mom who is a photographer.  Take a look at her fun website here: http://www.wendyupdegraff.com/2012/10/pumpkin-county-fair-jacksonville-family.html

Enjoy!

Vintage Style Large Santa....

While working on so many summer wedding items and
Halloween pieces, it's so nice to
take a break and make something for winter.
This guy is quite large and stands 8 inches tall.  It has
been made of paper clay over foil and styrofoam.
He has fun plaid pants and is holding a
silver vintage ball.
On his hat is a bronze colored bell that matches the
colors on his pants.
I think I'm going to make more of this style Santa
in different colors.  Perhaps dark green?

Customizing a vision for a wedding.....

A customer sent us a fun drawing that she had made
for her wedding invitations.
She wanted us to make a shark and a turtle
cake topper for her wedding cake.
She sent us the colors she wanted and
decided to add a tiny
jellyfish.
This is how it came out!
We had a fun time making this custom
set for her.
These will now be topping off her wedding cake
and will reflect her colors and theme.

Steampunk Funk Cake Topper

Metallic shades and industrial parts seem to be popular right now.  We have
sold lots of our robot cake toppers and so we had to come up with a new
design of robots that is more complex and colorful.
 These ones have been
painted in shades of pewter, silver, copper, bronze and gold.
They stand on a 3 inch "gear" base and are 7 inches tall.
Each have a few gears and rivets on their bodies.

The groom has a bronze chain on his hip
and the bride has a flower on her head.

These are full of detail and would look
so fabulous on a wedding cake, desk or shelf.
Have a great day!

Cake Toppers in action....

We've been so lucky to have
gotten some great
photos of our
wedding pieces from our
brides.

It's so much fun to see
our cake toppers in action!

I love how they have the
cake designed to
compliment the colors on our
wedding birds.

These birds were custom
made for a forest wedding.
 Fun little nut topped cake!
Our rabbits look so sweet on this
sugary pink cake.
We love it when we get photos and we are
so happy to be a part of their big day!

Woodland Wedding.....

I was married almost 13 years ago at a beautiful spot on the ocean.
I had always dreamed of getting married on a beach and it was
everything I wanted and hoped for.  I'm attracted to watery colors,
the texture of sand and the warm beach breezes.

I also happen to love all things woodland and think this would make
 a lovely wedding theme.
I can imagine using burlap, birch bark and moss in all of my designs.
We have created a new line of cards that coordinate with our
wedding cake toppers.  Each one features
an original watercolor design and go great with our
mushroom cake topper.

I would set my cake on a simple wooden pedestal that I would
make myself... like this one.
The groom could wear a boutonniere like this in red.
We offer these in several different colors and I think the groomsmen
would look great with similar ones in an off white or beige.
Wouldn't these finds make a fabulous wedding?

Come check out our wedding shop for more inspiration!
